Dear Newton Middle School Parents,
At back-to-school night, we introduced a few ways in which the Newton PTO fundraises to supports our school and teachers. One of our largest fundraisers is our Annual Drive which begins in August and runs till early November.
The Annual Fund is our ONE school-wide primary fundraiser, from which 100% of donations are deposited directly into the PTO account and are used to support the 'Principal's Initiative' for this school year. We understand that life can be busy and our intent is to alleviate adding more to your, and your student's, to-do list.
Our goal with this philanthropic contribution is that 100% of the proceeds go back to the school to support our staff and students!
Traditional fundraisers can take a 20-30% cut on profit which is a huge hit, and they usually require a lot of added time and energy from parents and students. Your time is valuable and we want you to spend it doing the things you love the most!
To reach our fundraising goal, we suggest a one-time donation of $150 per family, however ALL contributions make an impact in collective giving efforts.
As of mid-October, we have fundraised roughly $8,060 towards our $20,000 goal.
This year's Principal Initiative will support:
Fitness and Wellness equipment warranty extensions
Speaker Series - Newton will welcome Tanner Clark in the new year for 3 student assemblies, one at each grade level, and a parent evening
- New Lighting for the Stage/Learning stairs area (one of our main gathering areas in the school)
Student Activities and Support
Teacher and Staff Support
If you have not yet had a chance to give, there are several ways to make your impact happen and one is a BRAND-NEW ADDITION to Newton PTO!
